Meteor’s 2012 Cabernet Sauvignon Perseid is sumptuous and beautifully expressive in the glass. The 2012 is built on layer after layer of flavor. Raspberry jam, cloves, new leather and menthol are all precise and delineated throughout. Firm beams of tannin give the wine its energy and sense of drive. This is a terrific showing from Meteor.
