TASTING NOTES:
Rich and powerful with lots of chewy tannins and rich fruit. Full body and a chocolate, berry and light vanilla character. Savory finish. Needs a year or two to soften. Like the austerity. Better in 2018. 87.5% merlot and 12.5% cabernet franc.
