Description
Like all Oyster Mushrooms, these yellow beauties from Holland are mild flavored and very versatile. They have a natural affinity for seafood (with a slightly briny/fruity aroma when raw) and pair beautifully with fish dishes and soups. Because our Yellow Oysters are cultivated, they arrive very clean so just need a quick rinse. They become very soft when braised or stir fried – just separate the clumps and use the petal shaped caps with the top part of stem attached. Unfortunately the color will fade when cooked but these are not mushrooms for enjoying raw.
